Cogeco My Account Platform

Cogeco is a Canadian telecommunications and media company, offering internet, telephony and cable TV services. Cogeco Mobile is the newest service being offered. Adding a mobile subscription means a fully new digital product which includes the web shopping experience and a Mobile My Account customer platform.

Project Overview

Working with one other designer, I was involved in the initial evaluation, design, and user testing of the My Account platform.

As part of a larger transition to the Salesforce CRM platform, Cogeco Mobile My Account is first to utilize Salesforce. Cogeco’s current Home Services My Account utilizes a legacy system. The main challenge here was to seamlessly connect the two My Account platforms, given that they are built on two different backend systems.

We started with an analysis of Cogeco's Home Services My Account platform to assess the architecture, helping to inform the design for the Mobile My Account platform.

We mapped out the information architecture for the current MVP as well as the future scope. Eventually, both platforms will be integrated into Salesforce. In the meantime, we need to design the Mobile My Account to be future-proof.

After rounds of designs and stakeholder alignment, we were able to conduct user testing, providing us with valuable insights that led to design changes.

Cogeco Mobile has successfully launched. We are eager to continue with the next phase of integrating both platforms, continuing to improve our customer experience.
